Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions international patients ask most often. If your question is not here, contact us.
Many patients consider Albania because treatment can cost less than in many Western European countries, the country is close to much of Europe, and modern clinics treat international patients. It is also an opportunity to visit a beautiful country. As with any treatment abroad, it is important to choose carefully. We help you understand your options and your treatment plan before you travel.
The cost depends on the treatment, the number of teeth involved, the materials and whether preparatory procedures such as extractions or bone grafting are needed. We do not publish fixed prices, because a reliable estimate requires a dentist to review your case. After the initial consultation you receive a written treatment plan with a cost estimate.
Fill in the free consultation form or send us a message on WhatsApp. Describe what you would like to improve and, if possible, include recent photos of your teeth and a panoramic X-ray or CBCT scan. A partner dentist reviews your information and we send you a provisional plan and estimate. The final plan is confirmed after the examination in Albania.
Yes. The initial consultation is free and without obligation. It allows a dentist to understand your situation and suggest which treatment may be appropriate. An in-person examination at the clinic is always needed to confirm the plan, and in some cases the plan may change after it.
Yes, and it helps a lot. You can upload X-rays and photos in the consultation form, or send them by email or WhatsApp. Recent images are the most useful. If you do not have any X-rays, they can be taken at the clinic when you arrive.
It depends on the treatment. Whitening or a check-up may take one or two days. Crowns and veneers often require about a week, because they are made in a dental laboratory. Implants are usually completed over two trips, several months apart, to allow healing. Your treatment plan includes the estimated length of each stay.
Yes. We can recommend accommodation near your clinic to suit your budget and preferences, and help you choose the most practical option for your appointments.
Yes. We can help arrange a transfer from Tirana International Airport to your accommodation or clinic. The details, and any costs, are confirmed with you in advance.
Our team communicates in English, Italian and Albanian. Before you travel, we tell you which languages are spoken at the clinic we suggest, so you can communicate comfortably with your dentist.
We look at dentists' qualifications and registration, their experience with the treatments offered, the clinic's equipment and hygiene standards, and how clearly they communicate treatment plans and costs to international patients. Partner profiles are published on our website with verified information.
We review your request and contact you by email or WhatsApp, in your preferred language, to confirm the details and ask for any missing information. With your consent, we share your information with a suitable partner dentist. You then receive a provisional treatment plan and estimate. There is no obligation to proceed.
The consultation is free. If you decide to go ahead, some clinics ask for a deposit to reserve your appointments. Whether a deposit is required, its amount and the refund conditions are always explained in writing before you commit.
Some treatments, such as implants, All-on-4 or All-on-6 and some full mouth rehabilitations, require two or more trips. We coordinate each visit, help plan your travel and stay in touch between visits. Where appropriate, your dentist provides a temporary solution between stages.
